Joanne Kua Ying Fei

CEO / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – KSK GROUP BERHAD
MANAGING DIRECTOR – KSK LAND SDN BHD


Joanne Kua Ying Fei was appointed as Executive Director of KSK Group Berhad on 27 September 2012.

Joanne is the Chief Executive Officer of KSK Group Berhad since 2 October 2012 and is currently a member of the Group’s Executive Committee (Exco). She served as Risk Adviser in the ERM department of Kurnia Insurans (M) Bhd from 2010 until September 2012. Her current responsibilities cover various aspects of the Group’s corporate strategy and she is actively involved in all the Group’s operations. She is also the Managing Director of KSK Land Sdn Bhd since August 2013.

Prior to graduating, she worked for Munich Reinsurance Company in Munich, Germany, where she received training in reinsurance, (particularly in property, casualty and life) and in the Integrated Risk Management department. Subsequently, she joined Deutsche Bank, London as an Associate, Securitization team within Credit Risk Management function in 2007, where she was responsible for the securitization portfolio, with exposures mainly to the RMBS, insurance-linked securities and CDO asset classes.  

Joanne holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics from the University College of London, UK and M.Sc in Management and Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics, UK.


 

Cindy Kua

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
MANAGING DIRECTOR – INSURANCE

Cindy leads the insurance portfolio (KSK Insurance) regionally for the Group focused on the non-life sector. KSK Insurance currently operates licensed entities in Thailand and Indonesia since 2001, and has recently enlarged its portfolio to include insurtech and ancillary services contributing towards its digital ecosystem.

Prior to joining KSK, Cindy was an associate in the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice of law firm, Rahmat Lim & Partners in association with Allen & Gledhill, Singapore where she was involved in several significant transactions relating to the insurance, banking and aviation sectors in Southeast Asia. She holds an LLB (Hons) from King’s College, London and a Distinction in M.Sc in Insurance and Risk Management from Cass Business School, London.  She was admitted as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2011 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2012.


 

Vincent Tan

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – KSK LAND SDN BHD

Vincent is the Executive Director of KSK Land Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of KSK Group for property development.

Vincent has over 22 years of extensive experience in real estate investments and development.  Prior to joining KSK Land, he was the Executive Vice President of Pacific Star Group, a regional real estate investment and development company.  He was also the Country Head of Malaysia.  His past projects include high end mixed development, residential and resort projects in major cities of South East Asia.

He holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering and a member of Institute of Engineers Malaysia.  He has also obtained an Executive Master in Business Administration from University of Bath, United Kingdom.


 

Chong Fong Kong

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO)

Chong Fong Kong is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of KSK Group Berhad. He carries over 20 years’ experience in Information Technology and Digital Transformation. Previously, he served in managerial roles at various global insurance companies including QBE Insurance and MSIG Insurance.

Fong Kong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Campbell University. He is also certified in Enterprise Architect. In his spare time, he loves to swim not just to stay fit and healthy but as a mind training to stay focused.


 

Eric Tiow

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Eric comes from a circle of well known insurance organizations including Prudential, AXA Affin, Multi-Purpose, BIB Insurance Brokers and most recently Labuan Reinsurance. A chartered accountant with ACCA and MIA, he started his career in London as an Auditor before moving back to Malaysia to join Ernst & Young. During his free time, Eric enjoys a good game of badminton and reading up on business and politics. He also enjoys travelling and lists London, Rome and Paris as his favorite cities.
